About Our Students

Philosophy students are among the most active and intellectual on the UNC Asheville campus.  With two vigorous philosophy clubs, an annual undergraduate philosophy conference and mutiple professional events on campus each year there are broad opportunities for student participation and learning.  Each philosophy student compltetes a undergaduate research project aimed at highlighting and developing academic and professional skills. 

Proving that a degree in philosophy prepares a person for many different career paths, recent graduates of the UNC Asheville Philosophy Department have gone on to graduate programs in philosophy, law, medicine and product design.
